Karma Creak plays traditional bluegrass with drive and humor. With an emphasis on stark vocal harmonies and offbeat song choices, their songbook covers classics of the genre as well as contemporary hits, with room for some originals. By day they are all teachers, their disciplines (and degrees of competence) varying wildly.

The members of KC include Jackie Scott (guitar); her first husband, Thomas Scott (banjo); his co-worker, Chris Looney (mandolin); and Will Spaulding (bass), who is a deeply mysterious stranger to all of them.

Formed in the spring of 2024, they have performed at the Lucketts Schoolhouse, the Bluegrass in the Gap Festival, the Bavarian Inn, the Round Hill Hometown Festival, Death Ridge Brewery, Wheatland Spring Brewery, and the Hillsboro Music in the Gap Series.
